SugarPearl’s honors the legacies of Mary “Sugar” Isaac and Pearline “Sing” Parrott. These matriarchs made coming home a time-honored treasure. Gatherings were made even more special with an abundance of good, clean food that we all helped to plant, chop, or stew. We ate the food that we grew, and love could surely be tasted in every bite.
